Cancel NEP in Karnataka from next academic year: CM Siddaramaiah
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that the National Education Policy implemented by the BJP government will be completely canceled from the next academic year in Karnataka.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah while inaugurating the general meeting of party members at the KPCC office, announced that the NEP implemented by the previous BJP government will be canceled from the next academic year. "Before scrapping the NEP, some necessary preparations have to be done. There was no time for this in the current academic year.
The CM explained that when the government was formed after the elections, the academic year had started. He said that the NEP will be continued in this academic year keeping in mind the difficulties faced by the students if it is canceled suddenly.
CM Siddaramaiah alleged that NEP has been strongly opposed by students, parents, teachers and lecturers and BJP has sacrificed the interests of the students of the state by implementing NEP practically in the state.
The National Education Policy is simultaneously opposed by students, parents and lecturers and teachers. He criticized the BJP for not implementing the National Education Policy all over the country and for the first time implementing it in the state and sacrificing the interest of the student body of the country.
